北角漁村

This restaurant is located at the Food Centre in the Java Road Market (北角渣華道熟食中心)

Very surprised that they got some authentic singaporean dishes.

My first recommendation is Black Pepper Crab. The taste is very similar to the most popular shop selling black pepper crab in Singapore (Still Road). It tastes good good!

The 麥片蝦 is nice as well.

Tried the Bahkutet (Meat Bone Tea), it is very concentrated and good for eating with rice.
However, really too concentrated that it cannot be taken as soup.

My friend E and her hubby likes Stingray. However, the stingray available in the restaurant is not fresh. So, I don't recommend this dish.

Pantry

Went to a cafe at Wing Fung Street at Wan Chai yesterday with a group of friends.

The cafe is called Pantry.

Very cosy environment. Very nice coffee and very tasty food.

I had a cup of latte and a pavlova. Frankly, I am not a cream person. I don't like cream. But the cream on the pavlova is really very very nice. Simply tasty, creamy, rich..... It gave me a very different impression on cream! Also, the strawberry sauce on the pavlova is not too sweet. Just to the right degree of sweetness!

The baked goods from Pantry is all home-made! I will definitely try the choco muffin and cookies next time!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
