Lei Yu Mun 鯉魚門

Quite a number of friends asked me about which restaurant to go in Lei Yu Mun.
And I just realized that there are friends who really look at this blog (though nothing much in it) to look for restaurants. :D

My family used to go to 鯉魚門 for some special occasions.
I will recommend having seafood there, especially if you hv friends visiting HK and you want to show them around.

Usually, my family buys seafood from a seafood store called 明記海鮮, which is located right after the basketball ground. The baskball ground is easy to find, just walk allow the alley for about 5 minutes and u will definitely see it. You can tell the store owner that you are introduced by 林小姐. But I can't guarantee you will hv a better deal, maybe even worse. Haha.
Then go to the seafood restaurant opposite (the other side of the basketball ground) called 海德花園.

In terms of $$, you can either tell the seafood stall that the budget you have per head, including everything. Then the stall owner will adjust for u and negotiate for u with the restaurant.
Or, you can select whatever seafood you like and bring it to the restaurant to cook. It will be a bit more expensive, but sure you can have everything you want.
